Bandai Namco Entertainment has dropped a surprise for the final DLC for Season 1 of Tekken 8- Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI.
Following a teaser of the first Season 2 character at Tekken World Tour Finals, Clive Rosfield will be coming to Tekken 8 on December 16th via early access for season pass holders, and will be available for all users from December 20th.
This marks the second Final Fantasy character to appear in Tekken- Noctis from Final Fantasy XV also appeared as a guest character in Tekken 7.

In an extended trailer, Bandai Namco Entertainment showed more Clive Rosfield gameplay, which includes all his various Eikonic Feats from Final Fantasy XVI.
It looks like Phoenix Shift will be one of his most versatile tools, acting as a command dash that pushes him forwards with various follow ups.
He can even launch himself into the air, performing a downward spike after the aerial Phoenix Shift.
Other Eikonic Feats in the game include a Power Crush that uses Titan, as well as combo tools featuring Leviathan, Bahamut and Shiva.
It looks as if he also has a perfect counter similar to Final Fantasy XVI, with a brief slowdown allowing him to hit with a follow-up.
And finally, he can also tag in his hound Torgal as a combo extender, similar to his role in Final Fantasy XVI.
We don’t know the specific mechanics behind how Clive Rosfield works- it looks like his Semi-Prime is tied to the Heat System, for example.
