Toge Productions has announced Coffee Talk Tokyo, the next entry in their cult classic Coffee Talk series.
Releasing in 2025 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Coffee Talk Tokyo brings the series to a Japanese locale but keeps the series core gameplay of heartwarming conversations and drinks brewing.
Coffee Talk Tokyo Features
The game even features a new sprinkle stencil feature, letting you make cool designs on your drinks then enhancing them with further techniques like etching to make the kind of art that would send social media abuzz.
The trailer even shows off three new characters with the signature fantastical Coffe Talk flare, described as follows:
- Kenji, the traditional kappa salaryman, striving to find meaning and a way forward after retirement.
- Vin, the Barista’s assistant coping with a fractured past and the daily consequences of a previous disaster.
- Ayame, a happy-go-lucky but recently deceased It girl, struggling to make sense of her new (after)life.
You’ll also be engaging with your clients via Tomodachill, the social media app to learn more about these characters and their backstories.
It’s no surprise that Toge Productions would have the next game set in Japan- the game has amassed quite a following in the country, with the previously announced collab cafe styled after the in-game cafe drawing some attention.
