Team Spino have announced Dinoblade, an upcoming prehistoric hack-and-slash game started from a series of demoreel animations.

While no release date has been set just yet, the team have launched the official Steam page, giving a further explanation just what the game intends to be.
Dinoblade Gameplay

From the Steam Page, Dinoblade is an action RPG where you play as a young Spinosaurus with a greatsword, out to defeat other weaponized dinosaurs.
Similar to games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice the game will test your ability to dodge, parry and capitalize on openings to land your own combos.

Crowd control will also be essential to the gameplay experience, with some fights involving smaller creatures trying to swarm you before you can swing your sword.

Dinoblade started as a series of viral animations by animator Jean Nguyen, all featuring dinosaurs holding weapons in their mouths and doing combos.
According to Nguyen, the game has been in development for the past year, though there’s been no mention about a potential release date or publisher.
