Cygames has announced the GBVSR Galleon release date, bringing the previously announced character to Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.
In the new trailer, the GBVSR Galleon Release Date has been set for 28th May 2025.
Additionally, the game is getting a Ranked mode rework, using a traditional ELO system instead of the game’s current gem-based system to denote rank.
GBVSR Galleon Release Date Comes With Gameplay Trailer
Shown at EVO Japan 2025, the GBVSR Galleon trailer also showed off the character’s gameplay.
Described as a pseudo-grappler, Galleon controls space with fireballs before closing in with powerful command grabs.
From the trailer alone it looks like she has both an air and a grounded grab, letting herself open up guarding opponents.
At the same time, she’s able to set up large projectiles, from rocky hands as well as falling boulders to pressure and bully opponents into place.
