Game developers can now network with and learn from the best with the first Asian offshoot of the IGDA Mentor Cafe, which will be coming to Indie Jam 2025.
The event is organized by the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) and is the first of its kind to be held in the country.
IGDA Mentor Cafe
Being held on 26th April, the IGDA Mentor Cafe allows game developers to engage in mentoring sessions, where they’ll be able to talk to industry professionals about their projects.
The session is split into two parts, featuring a 1-hour session teaching attendees to prepare for mentorship meetings, alongside a 2-hour session to meet the group of mentors with sessions set for around 30 minutes each.
Applicants and mentors will be paired up based on their answers in a short survey filled at registration.
Applications for mentees are open now, and the event will be held at Xsolla Curine Academy.

Aside from the IGDA Mentor Cafe, there’s plenty more for aspiring and current game developers at Indie Jam 2025- the event will feature showcases for other indie games for the region, as well as panels and talks by members of the industry.
The event will also feature a Student Game Jam, featuring the next generation of game development talent and their works.
