Malaysian game studio Lemon Sky is seeing a major shakeup in its leadership, as the company’s CEO and CCO (Chief Creative Officer) have both stepped down effective today.
In internal emails verified by Nmia Gaming, Ken Foong and Cheng-Fei Wong announced that today would be their last day at the company.
Aside from their executive roles, the two are also the founders of Lemon Sky Studios, being there since 2010.

While replacements for the position have not been given, the language of the email implies the positions are being filled by representatives from iCandy Interactive, the studio’s parent company, in the interim.
The representatives are Eugene Khoo, Larry Gan and Lau Kin Wai, with the latter two holding positions on iCandy’s board of directors.
Lau Kin Wai himself is the chairman of iCandy Interactive’s Board of Directors.
We’ve reached out to Lemon Sky Studios and Cheng-Fei Wong for comment, and will update this story when they respond.
In The Aftermath Of The Lemon Sky Studios Acquisition

iCandy Interactive acquired Lemon Sky Studios in 2021- the two entities had originally been working on a joint studio for producing mobile games and Metaverse games prior to the full acquisition.
The Australian company’s portfolio of studios include Hashcode Studio, Joyseed Gametribe as well as Flying Sheep and more.
Lemon Sky Studios is best known for their work as a support studio behind Triple-A games- whose credits include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as well as Stormgate.
This follows a turbulent year for the game industry, even further reflected in Malaysia’s local ecosystem- studios like Streamline Studios had also faced multiple mass layoffs in the past year.
