According to SteamDB, the game had a peak of over 50,000 players over the weekend, with the game also being a smash hit online among streamers and Vtubers.

As for gameplay, TCG Card Shop Simulator is your basic tycoon game, crafted from the mind of someone who’s into card games like the Pokemon TCG or Magic: The Gathering.
The game sees you running your own card store, buying packs of cards and stocking them for players, while also providing them a space to play among themselves.
You’re even able to open your own packs, sell singles as well as spray down unhygenic players who set foot in your store.
It’s developed by OPNeon, a Selangor-based game developer who even added Malaysian Ringgit as an in-game currency.
