505 Games has announced it will be publishing Mightreya, an upcoming superhero game about doing flashy air combos.
The game is developed by solo developer Wazen, with 505 Games handling distribution and publishing.
In a new trailer, they showed off the core premise of Mightreya- its combat system, which has you flying in the air and doing sick melee combos on a variety of enemies from flying robots to kaiju,
The game is set to launch on 2025, though it’s available to wishlist now on Steam.
Mightreya Gameplay
Mightreya is an action game featuring flight and homing controls, looking not unlike the Gundam EX VS series.
From the trailer we can already see two weapons that the main character Reya can use- a sword as well as a series of spectral fists not unlike Bayonetta.
It seems to have all the combat basics- from the trailer we see homing attacks, air juggles as well as what appears to be clashes- though it looks like you won’t be able to clash with large enemies.
