SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE is confirmed for release on Thursday, 25 August 2022!

The title’s second promotional video as well as new information about the various game editions, purchase bonuses and DLCs are out now!

SINGAPORE – 27 May 2022 – Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia announced the release date for its latest Gundam title, SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE, to be on Thursday, 25 August 2022 during the Gundam Game Fest that took place earlier today.

The title’s second promotional video, as well as new information pertaining to game editions and purchase bonuses that will be available, were also made public. More details can be found below.

The second promotional video out now!

SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE is an action RPG that allows players to battle Super Deformed (SD) versions of Mobile Suits from the Gundam series. The story takes place in G: Universe, a world where Gundam canon twists and turns in ways no one can predict, due to a strange phenomenon known as Breaks.

It is the player’s task to set the story straight by clearing various missions. The game can also be played in multiplayer mode, encouraging players to lead a 3-unit squadron to experience exciting cooperative battles. Players can obtain blueprints to develop new Mobile Suits, customise their favourites as they see fit, and test their skills in a wide variety of missions.

The latest promotional video released today contains information about game mechanics such as missions and mech customisation, as well as purchase bonuses. Check out the video below for more details:

3. Early Unlock: “Knight Gundam”

The unit “Knight Gundam” from “Musha Knight Command: SD Gundam Scramble” will also be unlocked early, allowing it to be used from the start of the game.

The theme song for this title, “The Skies of History”, has been created by Powerless feat. ShishiGami to reflect the world of the game!

Profile: Powerless

Initially active as a vocaloid producer under the name MuryokuP from 2009, Powerless released several tracks before beginning work as a composer for a game company.

After making a name for himself, he joined TOKYO LOGIC in 2019. While he is currently providing music for the theatre, television commercials, and video games under a separate stage name, he also performs and writes music as Powerless for character songs in anime and for other artists.
