Singaporean developers Kopiforge have announced a demo for Sedap! A Culinary Adventure , their upcoming cooking adventure game featuring a tome full of South East Asian cuisine.
As part of Steam’s Cooking Festival, you can try out Sedap! A Culinary Adventure demo now ahead of its release.
Sedap! A Culinary Adventure Demo Features
The game has you playing as one of two characters: Som, a chef who cooks or Gon, a hunter who fights monsters and gets ingredients.
It features co op and solo play, requiring you to gather ingredients while adventuring as Gon to fulfill Som’s orders.
That being said, the demo build only features local co op, with support for keyboards and controllers.
On the cooking side, the Sedap! A Culinary Adventure demo has plenty of familiar recipes for anyone who grew up in South East Asia, with dishes like Pineapple Fried Rice or Sambal Kangkong.
Sedap! A Culinary Adventure joins the ranks of games like Kooeh in upcoming titles featuring South East Asian food.
