Naughty Dog Central 表示這是因為他們都使用了 Gustavo Santaolalla 為遊戲創作的音樂。而在 HBO 播出的《最後生還者》影集同樣使用了一樣的音樂，便導致了相關的影片內容遭到了平台的版權警告。

《最後生還者》劇集自 1 月 15 號播出首集以來，一度刷新 HBO 的人氣上漲紀錄，同時帶動遊戲銷量再次增加，其人氣之高使得劇集還未結束的情況下，便已經敲定了《最後生還者》第二部的製作。截止目前該劇集在 IMDB 獲得了 9.2 的高分。
