Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree release date, letting players set foot once more into The Lands Between.
In the trailer, they confirm that the DLC would be launching on June 21st, 2024 and would feature Miquella, brother of the game’s super boss Malenia.
There’s quite a bit of interesting other tidbits in the trailer as well- for one, fan theories that it would be accessible via Miquella’s cocoon were spot on, with players being transported into a realm of shadow.
The DLC also features multiple new enemies such as a giant burning cage golem as well as multiple horrors like a giant porcupine and a giant leech.
Finally, it wasn’t just the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree release date that was shown off- the DLC will also be getting its own collector’s edition, with Messmer the Impaler to match the Malenia statue included in the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition.
