New Free Cross-Platform Network Beta Test for Guilty Gear -Strive- Open to Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is excited to announce a cross-platform network beta test starting February 3 for Arc System Works’ acclaimed 2.5D fighting game Guilty Gear -Strive- available now on PlayStation®4/PlayStation®5/STEAM, with no purchase of the main game required!

Free-to-play Cross-Platform Network Beta Test Coming Up, Open to Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows Users!

A cross-platform network test will be held for four days from February 3 to February 6, 2023, with Guilty Gear -Strive- available free of charge and online multiplayer with no platform restrictions. The free open beta offers not only online matches, but also a variety of modes to play, such as a generous Tutorial for players new to fighting games and Training Mode for practice with an array of settings to adjust as needed. All DLC characters up to Sin Kiske are available to play.

The free open beta is also available on Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows, so you can join from the new platforms scheduled for full release this upcoming Spring.

*The beta test will be held on a separate application from the main Guilty Gear -Strive- game. The application must be downloaded from the store on each platform.

*The free version will be available for download in advance, starting from 2 February October, 3pm SGT

22 characters total (including all currently released DLC characters)

・Tutorial Mode: Learn the basics of how to play. 

・Mission Mode: Learn useful techniques for matches in a mission format.  

・Survival Mode: Fight consecutive battles against the COM with a limited pool of health. 

・Training Mode: Recreate a variety of situations and practice to your heart’s content. 

・VS COM, VS 2P: Fight against the computer or a friend. 

・Online Match (Rank Tower, Open Park, Player Match): Play online against others from across the globe. 

・Combo Maker: Make your own original combo or setplay, and search for other players’ recipes to try. 

・Digital Figure: Set up characters, furniture, effects, and more to create your own unique scene. 

・Gallery: Check out the characters and BGM. 

*Online multiplayer between players on the different PlayStation®4/PlayStation®5/Steam/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/ Windows platforms is possible.

*Online multiplayer is available without a PlayStation®Plus subscription.
*Online multiplayer is available without an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
*A network connection is required to play online modes.
*Although the application and online multiplayer are available for free, customers are responsible for their network connection fees.
*Save data cannot be carried over to the main game.
*The contents of the Guilty Gear -Strive- Cross-Platform Network Open Beta Test may differ from the main Guilty Gear -Strive- game.
