EVO, one of the biggest annual fighting game tournaments, has announced more information on its 2024 edition, including its games as well as its new venue.
In a livestream today, they unveiled the big changes coming to EVO 2024- with the games lineup as follows:

- Tekken 8
- Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising
- Under-Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes
- Guilty Gear Strive
- Mortal Kombat 1
- KOF XV
- Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
Similar to last year, the organizers have included a throwback title in the tournament lineup, with Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike taking the place previously held by Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
“20 years after the iconic Evo Moment 37, we are happy to reveal the Throwback Title for #Evo2024: Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike!”, the EVO Twitter account writes, poking fun at the iconic fight where pro player Daigo Umehara parried every hit of Chun Li’s Super Art, stealing the round from Justin Wong.
EVO 2024 will take place July 19th to 21st at Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, a new venue for the popular fighting game event.
This year’s event will feature three full days in the convention hall, with all games having their grand finals on the main stage.
