Japanese entertainment distribution company, REMOW Co., Ltd. (REMOW), which handles the global distribution of Japanese content, currently manages a YouTube channel “It’s Anime”. Taking a creator first” approach which empowers studios to grow hand-in-hand with animes growing demand, REMOW is committed to bringing the best in Japanese anime content to the world with 7 exciting new anime titles on Its Anime” this holiday season!

 

Its Anime” currently has more than 103k subscribers and is excited to announce that for a limited time from 19 December, episode 1 to the second last episode of 7 new anime released in October 2023 will be available on the channel. The first 3 episodes of each anime is available on the channel, and subsequent episodes are made available for a limited time for 7 days for fans to enjoy, all times stated are in JST (Japan Standard Time), UTC/GMT +9 (the synopsis for each title can be found at the end of the document):

 

 

The 7 titles are popular outside of Japan and ranked highly on various anime distribution platforms. Among them, The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess” won 1st place in Anime Corner’s ranking, and The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy” was ranked 3rd on MyVideo.

 

Anime is recognized around the world as a representative culture of Japan, however, limited distribution and video platforms have led fans to pirate their favourite anime, which has caused losses of around USD 15 billion in 2021, marking a five-fold increase from 2019. Despite the massive demand for anime that has resulted in nearly every animation studio in Japan being booked solid years in advance, some talent in the industry make as little as USD 200 a month.

 

REMOW aims to remove the barrier of platform exclusivity and directly bridge Japanese anime to fans around the world by making the medium compatible with all distribution formats. REMOWs delivery system guided by its creator first” approach will allow creators to effectively monetise their work in line with their global appeal, and help the anime industry to thrive collectively. As part of that effort, REMOW launched the Its Anime Store, an online shop for anime goods available in 120 countries worldwide in October 2023 (merchandise details can be found at the end of the document).

⚫️About REMOW

 

REMOW Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-City, Tokyo, President: Akira Ishii, hereinafter referred to as “REMOW”) which handles the global distribution of Japanese content, will use the October 2023 animation series as an opportunity to start a full-fledged global animation distribution centred on the Asian region, and will distribute works on 33 platforms mainly in 22 countries in the Asian region. In conjunction with this expansion into Asia, we will launch a YouTube channel “It’s Anime” and aim to expand the channel.

REMOW held a theatrical release tour of the live-action movie SEE HEAR LOVE” in four countries and regions in Asia, and also released the live-action movie NINJA VS SHARK” in Thailand. REMOW has also begun to expand a wide range of works worldwide, including the development of a subscription service for Japanese period dramas in 40 countries around the world. In the anime genre, we established “ANIME  REMOW LATAM. De R.L. De C.V.” with the aim of expanding Japanese content in Latin America, providing the anime distribution service anime onegai” as well as deepening developed relationships with local streaming platforms. In the Asian region, REMOW KOREA Co., Ltd.” was established in July 2023, and began simultaneous distribution of the TV anime My Tiny Senpai” on local streaming platforms.

 

Finally, using the October animation series, we began the full-fledged global distribution of animation centred on the Asian region.
